“The Pest” The New Adventures of Batman is an animated series produced by Filmation in 1977 featuring the DC Comics superheroes Batman and Robin, and Batgirl. The current distributor is Warner Bros. Television due to parent company Warner Bros’s ownership of DC Comics, which publishes the Batman titles. It is a continuation of the 1960s Batman TV series which had been canceled eight years earlier. The New Adventures of Batman originally premiered February 10, 1977 on CBS. The episodes from this series were later aired along with other Filmation shows—such as Tarzan, Lord of the Jungle (1976, CBS) —as part of: The Batman/Tarzan Adventure Hour (1977–1978 CBS), Tarzan and the Super 7 (1978–1980 CBS), and Batman and the Super 7 (1980–1981 NBC). In The New Adventures of Batman, the “Dynamic Duo” fights crime in Gotham City, encountering the classic Batman rogues gallery as well as some original villains. Complicating matters is Bat-Mite, a well meaning imp from another dimension called Ergo, who considers himself Batman’s biggest fan. As a result, he wears a variant of Batman’s costume and attempts to help him, only to often create more problems (although he is occasionally an asset). Missing is Alfred, the faithful butler of Batman’s alter ego Bruce Wayne; also notable in this series are the inverted colors of the “R” on Robin’s costume. (SUBSCRIBE)

I bought number 400 today and it was good. The series just came out and I need to know what is the first comic in the new series. It also said that it fills the gap between batman rip and batman final crisis. Also is the new batman not Bruce Wayne.

What I mean is, how many different series, or shows. (Example; “The Batman” would be one show, while “Batman The Animated Series” would be different.) Please include titles, put them in order of earliest series to the newest ones, and please, only the animated/anime version.

I want to read all the Batman comics, namely the more recent ones. I can’t really figure out what is done by DC and what has been taken on by other people. I read about issues like Batman RIP and The Detective ones… But What is the order? Or are these not done with DC? I am confused.

I saw someone reviewing this Batman comic series on television a while back. It’s about a parrelel universe where the man who Batman is poor and lives in an apartment. He uses house hold items to make his weapons and costume to fight crime. I would really like to read the series if I could know what the name of the series is.

There are many movies and TV shows that we can be addicted to, especially when we are a fanatic of a certain character. One of the most outstanding movie series today is “Batman”. It was adapted from a fictional comic book, premiered in 1960′s and until now it’s still majority’s all time favorite. Batman is where fantasies do come true and also reflects about people and things around us. There are a number of episodes that people loves to watch over an over again without getting tired.
Batman’s secret identity is Bruce Wayne, a usual industrialist. Bruce’ family is into real state business called Wayne Enterprise before Gotham City is being attacked by villains. Often times, people seen him as irresponsible, superficial playboy and gets what he wants because of his family’s wealth fortune. When he was a boy, Bruce Wayne got a trauma when the physician Dr. Thomas Wayne and his wife Martha was being murdered in front oh his very eyes.He was deeply horrified. That’s the main reason why he fight crimes in Gotham City as Batman.
Dressed as a bat, Batman wanted to have a frightening persona in order to protect his true identity and aid him in crime fighting. The suit colors are traditionally blue and gray. And shared a bat motif into his crime fighting equipments namely his bat mobile,bat-computer, bat-scanner, bat-radar, bat-cuffs, bat-drinking water dispenser, bat-camera with polarized bat-filter, bat-shark repellent bat-spray, bat-rope, and the bat cave which is the Batman’s secret headquarter.Obviously first named “bats” for his war on crimes.
What makes him different from other superheroes is that he does not possess any special power like the flying skills of superman. What he uses is his intellectual ability, strong physical power notably martial arts, acrobatics, escape tactics, torture techniques, intimidating aura and detective skills to solve crimes and protect Gotham city against villains and prime suspects. But still being human, Batman’s attraction to Cat woman is present.Sidekick Robin comes along the way.Batman’s most daring foe is the Joker. A clown-figure criminal. And all the story versions of Batman is history and recognized around the world and became a pop culture until now.

Bruce adopts the Batman disguise in order to be able to fight crime under a hidden identity. Together with allies such as his butler, Alfred, his sidekick, Robin, his former partner, Nightwing, or the acrobatic Batgirl, Batman manages to fight crime and protect the innocent.
The Batman characters
Batman – although he has no superpowers, like most of the heroic crime fighters, Batman prowls the streets of Gotham City in a bat suit armed with intelligence and technology. The virtually unlimited wealth of Wayne Industries allows Bruce Wayne to purchase and adapt the most modern technological advancements that he can use when he is Batman. Our dark hero dedicates his entire life to striking evil when they least expect it.
Alfred – Batman’s trusted friend has been a butler for the Wayne family for decades. Alfred took care of Bruce after his parents were murdered and he helps Batman solve both moral dilemmas and crimes with his sharp intelligence and impressive resourcefulness.
Robin II – when the original Robin decides to become Nightwing, Batman finds a new sidekick in the person of Tim Drake, a 13-year old who has all the skills that are required by this position. Robin is always there to help when Batman finds himself in danger.
Nightwing – Dick Grayson was Batman’s first sidekick. He abandoned being Robin and became Nightwing and although he doesn’t work together with Batman anymore, they are sometimes seen fighting for a common purpose.
Batgirl – Commissioner Gordon’s daughter, Barbara Gordon, decides to fight crime just like her father, but she adopts a more subtle approach and becomes Batgirl.
Commissioner Gordon – head of the Gotham City Police Department, Gordon is one of Batman’s trusted allies, providing him with information. On the other hand, Commissioner Gordon also asks for Batman’s help when the constrains of the law don’t allow him to succeed in fighting crime.
Evil characters – the other side of the law is well portrayed in the Batman cartoon. With criminals such as Joker and his Harley Quinn assistant, or the infamous Two-Face, Batman and his allies have their hands full at all times.
Here are the actors that lend their voices to the Batman characters:
Kevin Conroy – Batman – Bruce Wayne
Loren Lester – Robin – Richard ‘Dick’ Grayson
Clive Revill – Alfred Pennyworth (On Leather Wings, Christmas with the Joker, and Nothing to Fear)
Efrem Zimbalist Jr. – Alfred Pennyworth
Bob Hastings – Commissioner Gordon
Robert Costanzo – Detective Harvey Bullock
Lloyd Bochner – Mayor Hamilton Hill
