each 2 their own i gues, i like all but clooney. that movie was a joke.
i think bale is a great actor and has alot depth, like in american psycho and the machinist. very few actors cud b so convincing. his batman voice is funny tho.

@16JAM77 i just do not agree. the new batman movies were too exadurated also the fightscenes were unwatchable.
bale does not come across as the actor who can show that kind depth and depression and at the same time cary the battle forward , he looked like any other normal person . Christian bale played much better in terminator where he was able to bring the character to life

@dizzygemini86 to understand why this was the best batman is if you were in the 1980 and everything batman was shiney solid gold and shiney solid black and this was amazingly portrayed in the 80s movie
it was how they thought they could bring batman out of the cartoonish costume by focusing on the batmanish parts of the costume and that was the black leather theme and it had to coninside with the faric of a bats skin and appearance. for micheal keaton i want to say HIS FACE was like the mask

Michael Keateon is Batman in the same sense that Sean Connery is James Bond. Christian Bale is Pierce Brosnan – good replacement, but can’t touch the original (even though Adam West came first, plus those 40s serials).

IT WAS THE PERFECT if you realize that it was the last realistic impression of this hero the other ones that are now are just too exadurated just to make them fresh
this is the only movie that i think was good as it was.. the new armor and actor for the part does not spell this hero and the camera actions were awfull

Micheal Keaton and christian Bale are both great Batmen. Unfortunately Val Klimer and George Clooney are not.

the movie companies trim a little violence to get PG 13 Ratings… I know…
When I was still a minor, I would usually have no problems going alone… sometimes, not too often, I would get some dickhead theater employee give me a hard time…

@ksdhfesfh well we saw that the joker got away in a school bus at the very biginning of the film from the bank. and it was a school bus he escaped on from the hospital, it would have been his own, and we saw how acurate the first heist was and how easily people are corrupted in gotham, it wouldn’t take much for hims to sneak stuff onto the boats. I get what you’re saying, but the director can’t explain everthing kuz the film is for a mature audience, they can work it out for themselves.

TDK in my opinion was really really badly directed.
my argument is caused by the sheer lack of reasoning in the film;
the joker just happen to fill 2 ship loads with gasoline
he somehow managed to sneak in tons of explosives into a hospital, and walk away on a bus without any one noticing him
the hospital explosion scene was about 5 shots, it only takes 2
how about the guy with the bomb in his gut? where the hell did that come from
policewoman was corrupt? betray everyone for a buck or two?
