2.Tim shoots the Joker in the heart thus killing him
3. After that Batman hangs up the cape while Nightwing and Bat Girl take care of Gotham, until the events in Batman Beyond happen

@modbz True, but Bruce could have done some teaching I’m sure. It would have been an interesting twist though. Seeing Terry take up that roll, Dana feeling a bit overwhelmed with this… Terry having to focus on being batman, and training his sidekick, and protecting him. Terry’s lack of attention causing the side-kick to stray… ext…

@JoeyvanTienen and notice how Bruce named the dog Ace, after the little girl named “ace” it’s explained in the episode where Waller tells terry about him being a genetic “son/clone” of Bruce…

@AllAksion I’ve read somewhere that after the events of the Joker turning Tim Drake into a mini J (see “return of the joker” for more info on that), Batman cut all ties with the Justice league. Since at that time he wore his “regular” batsuit, I doubt Supes and WW fought alongside Bruce in his BB suit.

Then again Amanda Waller contradicts that in “epilogue” where she said she watched him save the day over and over but also watched Bruce getting older and slower.

@TheLeprechuan I’d have to say I loved Ace the dog. He really proved himself overtime. The scene in the batcave in “return of the joker” when Terry takes Ace with him for the final confrontation with the Joker and Bruce’s body language approving of it, introduced Ace as the proper sidekick imo (even though they already had some missions together.)

@TheLeprechuan Terry was very young, and still a protege to Bruce in many ways, not up to that level just yet to take someone under his wing.
